The 2024 Pan Pacific Cup will take place Jan. 18-21, 2024, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The competition is open to athletes from all countries in Asia, the Caribbean Islands, North America, Oceania, Central America, and South America. The Pan Pacific Cup offers two levels of competition - Open and Elite - in the following disciplines:

Women's Disciplines

  • Solo
  • 2-Baton
  • 3-Baton
  • Artistic Twirl
  • X-Strut

Men's Disciplines

  • Solo
  • 2-Baton
  • 3-Baton
  • Artistic Twirl
  • X-Strut

Mixed Disciplines

  • Artistic Pair
  • Artistic Team
  • Artistic Group (offered at One Level only)
  • Exhibition Corps, Parade, Show Corps*

Content Restrictions

There are content restrictions for Open Level Disciplines and some group events. When determining your level, see the Pan Pacific Cup Rule Book, available on the USTA Member Portal under Documents. Search for Manuals. The Pan Pacific Cup Rule Book contains a philosophy statement and content restriction charts.

Music:

Athletes shall perform to the IBTF World Baton Twirling Championship and Nations Cup music selections. You can download the music at no cost from the IBTF website here.

Entries:

Entries are now available on the USTA Member Portal under Events & Courses. Enter Pan Pacific in the Search bar or scroll down to Int'l Qualifying Events. There is a Pan Pacific Admin Fee of $20 per entry. The entry deadline is 11:59 Pacific Standard Time on Monday, Nov. 6, 2023. Late entries are NOT ACCEPTED.

Entries for United States athletes must be submitted through USTA. All athletes must hold a valid passport in their own name from the nation that they represent, as proof of their citizenship and age. Athletes compete based on the age that they will be on December 31 of the competition year.

PLEASE NOTE: to purchase an entry in this competition, you must be logged in as the athlete entering the competition and the athlete must have an active USTA Athlete membership.

Free seminar on new Freestyle Solo Education and Judging System to be held during Pan Pacific Cup

The World Baton Twirling Federation (WBTF) will offer a free seminar on the new Freestyle Solo Education and Judging System, at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 18, 2024, during the Pan Pacific Cup. The seminar is open to all coaches and judges who are involved in coaching or judging the Freestyle event or wish to learn more about it. Maureen Johnson, Sandi Rios, and Jackie Stewart from WBTF's Executive Technical Committee will present this important information. Learn more at https://www.wbtf.org/wbtf-education-portal
