USTA Member PortalIntro Membership
A great way for athletes who are new to USTA to experience USTA-sanctioned competitions without paying the full Athlete membership.
$7 per contest | For Athletes under 21
Benefits:
- Allows athletes new to USTA to enter disciplines at Novice, Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced levels at local competitions without paying full Athlete membership fee
- Allows athletes to participate in USTA Competitive Achievement Program (CAS) at C and B levels without full Athlete membership fee
- Selected on competition entry forms (not available through USTA Member Portal)
Step-Up Membership
A steppingstone from recreational to competitive twirling that allows twirlers to expand their skills and confidence!
$25 per year | For Athletes under 21
Benefits:
- Enter disciplines at Novice, Beginner, and Intermediate levels at USTA local, state, and regional competitions without full Athlete membership fee
- Participate in USTA Competitive Achievement Program (CAS) at C, B, BI, and BII levels
- $25,000 in accident medical insurance and $10,000 in AD&D insurance coverage at USTA events
- Subscription to USTA News & Views and Catch It! eZine
- Access to Members-Only information and resources
Athlete Membership (U21)
The perfect membership for athletes who are pursuing their passion for the sport of baton twirling!
$50 per year
Benefits:
- Allows athletes who are under the age of 21 to participate in USTA local, state, regional, and national competitions, including Athlete of the Year and PreTrials, IBTF Qualifiers, and USA Tour
- Allows athletes to participate in the USTA Competitive Achievement Program (CAS) (Compulsories and Movement Technique) at the C through Elite levels.
- Provides $25,000 in accident medical insurance coverage and $10,000 in AD&D insurance coverage at a USTA/USA Baton Twirling-sanctioned events.
- Includes a subscription to USTA News & Views, a monthly eNewsletter; the Catch It! eZine; and the annual Catch It! Winners' Issue.
- Provides access to Members-Only information and resources.
Athlete Membership (21+)
The perfect membership for athletes who are pursuing their passion for the sport of baton twirling!
$50 per year for membership plus $75 every other year for mandatory background check
Requirements:
- Athletes 21 and older (or who turn 21 during the competition season) must complete a mandatory background check.
Benefits:
- Allows athletes who are 21 or older to participate in USTA local, state, regional, and national competitions, including Athlete of the Year and PreTrials, IBTF Qualifiers, and USA Tour.
- Allows athletes to participate in the USTA Competitive Achievement Program (CAS) (Compulsories and Movement Technique) at the C through Elite levels.
- Provides $25,000 in accident medical insurance coverage and $10,000 in AD&D insurance coverage at USTA/USA Baton Twirling-sanctioned events.

Professional Membership
Build your coaching and judging career with a Professional membership!
$90 per year for membership plus $75 every other year for background check
Requirements:
- USTA coach or judge certification, including mandatory background check.
Benefits:
- Allows participation in USTA local, state, regional, and national competitions, IBTF Qualifiers, USA Tour and USTA workshops, webinars, and conventions.
- Provides $25,000 in accident medical insurance coverage and $10,000 in AD&D insurance coverage at USTA/USA Baton Twirling-sanctioned events.
- Provides option to purchase a Certificate of Insurance (COI) with $2 million in general liability insurance coverage for facility rentals.
- Includes a subscription to USTA News & Views, a monthly eNewsletter; Inside Loop, a monthly eNewsletter just for Professional members; the Catch It! eZine; and the annual Catch It! Winners' Issue.
- Provides access to Members-Only information and resources.
- Professional members who are 18 years old or older receive voting privileges in USTA's Board of Directors elections.
Alumni Affiliate
The perfect way for former athletes and parents, and retired coaches and judges to stay connected to the sport they love!

Organization Membership
The most affordable option for studios and clubs with groups of newer athletes!
$10 per member
For Athletes 21 and over - Plus $75 every other year for background check
Benefits:
- Allows members of a studio or club to compete at local, state, regional and national competitions in group disciplines, Foundation Events (Basic, Military, Parade March, Presentation), and C through BII Compulsories and Movement Technique. This type of membership allows for participation in team, group, and corps at the IBTF Qualifier and USA Tour.
- Provides $25,000 in accident medical insurance coverage at USTA/USA Baton Twirling-sanctioned events.
- Includes a subscription to USTA News & Views, a monthly eNewsletter; the Catch It! eZine; and one copy of the annual Catch It! Winners’ Issue.
