59th Anniversary U.S. National Baton Twirling Championships

July 10-15, 2017

Alliant Energy Center
Madison, Wisconsin

Madison, the capitol of Wisconsin, is a beautiful, family-friendly city with lots to offer our twirlers and their families. This city of 500,000 is one of only two U.S. cities built on an isthmus. Madison is nestled between lakes Monona and Mendota, has three other area lakes, more than 260 parks and 200 miles of trails and paths.

Besides boasting natural beauty and outdoor recreation, Madison plays host to stimulating cultural offerings, distinctive restaurants, excellent music venues, and unique shopping, creating a destination that enriches both residents and visitors alike. Madison is also a college town, home to the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Getting There

Fly direct to Madison, to nearby Milwaukee (1.5 hours away) or plan a visit to the Windy City on your way since Chicago is only 2.5 hours from Madison. From Milwaukee you can take the Badger Bus. From Chicago, take Van Galder or Megabus.

Staying There

USTA works hard to provide quality hotel choices with a broad set of locations, amenities and rate ranges. The local Convention & Visitors Bureau and Sports Commission help identify those hotels which are CVB and Sports Commission members. Those organizations provide sponsorship dollars to USTA which help cover the very high cost of the large arenas we use to produce a top notch championship event. Please help keep entry fees down by staying at one of our USTA host hotels and by using the booking codes provided on our website. Thank you!
